Middle Level Athletics
At the 6th, 7th & 8th grades, there are established sports and activities as part of the BVSD Middle Level Activities Council, of which Meadowlark students have access. These include, but are not limited to Student Council, yearbook, football, volleyball, cross country, track, basketball, soccer, wrestling and skiing.
In the event we are not able to field a complete Meadowlark Maverick team due to our size and enrollment (i.e. MS tackle football, ski team, etc.), we will partner with Angevine, Nederland, or other BVSD middle schools to offer the program. In this situation, a coach from Meadowlark may accompany students on an activity bus to practices and events.
Physical Form ReQuirements
All Interscholastic and Intramural sports require the student to complete and submit a medical physical. This is an example of the required form. Your Pediatrician may have their own version of this form. We can accept that as long is it says the student is medically cleared to participate in sports or other activities. Please note, we can not accept your student's medical history forms in lieu of the document. If you have questions regarding these documents, please contact Lindsay Barber.
Registration & Fees
The registration process is two steps, and you MUST complete both steps, prior to the first day of practice in order for your student to participate.
-
Please register your student(s) for any teams they wish to participate on our Arbiter website (link coming soon).
-
After filling out the Arbiter registration, you can pay the registration fee on Revtrak.
Interscholastic sports have a registration fee of $125 and intramural sports have a fee of $60. The annual family maximum for athletics is $600. Please reach out to Lindsay Barber if you believe you have reached the maximum.
