7th and 8th Grade Learning Community

 In the 7-8 Learning Community, you can expect to use 7th and 8th grade academic content knowledge to solve real world problems. In our Project-Based Learning Curriculum, experts and professionals in the fields of study connected to our academic content provide students with feedback on their projects, while exciting students about the real-world application of their learning. PBL is divided between Humanities block, which integrates Social Studies and Language Arts content, and a STEM block which combines Math and Science learning. In addition to relevant, real world learning, Social - Emotional Learning is a high priority in the 7-8 Learning Community and we provide many opportunities for students to share triumphs and challenges throughout the week as they navigate this important life stage as young adults.
