Yadi graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Masters Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Licensed Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. For the past 24 years she has worked in Arkansas, Texas, and Colorado. Yadi is also bilingual (English and Spanish) and has worked closely with the Latino communities. Yadi made a shift from being the director of a Trauma Informed Mental Health Program to provide direct services to children and families in BVSD. Her work has been with children and families in poverty, trauma, mental/physical disability by providing a trauma informed care approach and wraparound services to empower positive long term changes in their lives. In her free time she loves spending time with her husband and three children, two of which are in college. Almost every weekend is spent on a field watching her youngest son play a sport. Yadi also enjoys reading, exploring Colorado and spending time at home with her dog.
